This privacy notice describes how HUB13 and affiliates and use personal information about you before and after the HUB13 competition 2020. HUB13 is the organiser of the Art Competition 2020. HuB13 is the primary data controller of the personal information you give us.
OUR USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
When you participate in the HUB13 Art Competition 2020 we may process your data in a variety of ways, for several different reasons and with a range of legal justifications.
FULFILLING CONTRACT
This basis is appropriate where the processing is necessary to:
- Fulfil the HUB13 Art Competition 2020 terms and conditions;
- Administer the competition;
- Deal with your enquiries and requests; and
- Contact the winners.
YOUR CONSENT
Featuring photographs of the winners together with their name and ages may be used in in advertising and publicity.
WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED?
Winner’s names, age and category will be displayed in the annual credit union calendar and other publicity campaigns (such as posters, cards and other point of sale materials). Where you have given us permission to use your photographic image we may share those images along with names and age with national and local press as well as magazines, internal publications/web and social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).

Where appropriate we may disclose your personal data to third parties who may help us run and administer the HUB13 Art Competition 2020 such as printers, ad agencies and service providers. We may also disclosure personal data where we are legally obliged to disclose your information such as to our regulators or the police.
HOW AND WHY DO WE COLLECT AND USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We will only process your personal information for the purposes of the HUB13 Art Competition. Your personal information will be collected following your completion of the entry form.
WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
We will collect, store, and use the following categories of personal information about you: Your name, date of birth, age, address, school/ college/ club/ organisation, and photograph.
DO YOU HAVE TO GIVE US YOUR INFORMATION?
You must give us some information to ensure you have complied with the terms and conditions of the HUB13 Art Competition and to administer the competition but there is some information that you can choose whether to let us have or not. When we ask you for information that you don’t have to give us, we will ask for your permission and let you know why we want it and what we will do with it.
HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We don’t keep it forever, only for as long as we need it to help us do the thing we needed it for. We will destroy your personal data in a safe manner within one year of the competition prize giving ceremony. Consents relating to photographic images will be retained for as long as the photographic image is being used.
