HUB13 Arts competition. Painting/ Drawings/ Sculpture
This competition is open to all persons from 7-11, living within approximately a
seven mile radius of Newtownmountkennedy.
Painting/ Drawing/ Sculpture Category One
7-11 years.
The criticallv acclaimed judges are Annick Bishop and Orla Madden.
Painting/ Drawing/ Sculpture Entry
No specific theme is being promoted. Entrants can draw/ paint/ sculpt anything using any medium they choose. Watercolours, crayon pastel clay leggo play doh anything at all etc.
Entry is free and limited to two entries. Entry is preferred by using the form below.

Entry Conditions
- All entries must be the original work of a living person.
- Entries must not have been previously published, self—published or published on a website or broadcast.
- 2 Artworks max per entrant.
- The name of the entrant or identifying remarks must not appear on the artwork itself.
- A separate sheet of paper must include the name and contact details of the artist or it will be disqualified immediately.
- No canvassing is allowed. This will immediately disqualify the entrant.
- No alterations can be made to the artwork once it has been submitted and no entries can be returned.

- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence can be entered regarding those decisions. The closing date is 26th May 2020.
- The winner and the prizes will be announced and awarded during Newtownmountkennedy Fesfival hopefully in June 2020.
- A shortlist will be contacted 2 weeks prior to this event.
- Short listed artists will be asked about their work if possible live or recorded.
- Copyright will remain with the artist but HUB13, Newtown2050 and Newtownmountkennedy Tidy Towns reserves the right to reuse the entries for publication or broadcast of selected artwork as it sees fit.
- The winning entries will be exhibited at a one off night at HUB13 Co Working Spaces. www.hub13.ie
- Submission of an artwork implies the competitor’s acceptance of the conditions set out above.

Closing date: 26th May 2020.
Winners notified: By 22th June 2020
Awards ceremony: TBC
Prizes.
Winning entry will be shown by the artist if desired on local media.
Artwork will be published on our web page.
A prize fund of up to €75 which will be allocated after competition results.
The runners up will be given special mention and published on HUB13’s web page.
