Competition
HuB13, Newtown2050 and Newtownmountkennedy Tidy Towns announce a competition for young creatives between 7 and 18 years old.
You must be residing within seven mile radius of Newtownmountkennedy to include Newtownmountkennedy Ashford, Roundwood Kilcoole Newcastle Greystones, Delgany and Kilpeddar.to enter the competition.
We are launching 3 special categories:
CATEGORY 1
7-11 years.
Painting drawing and sculpture
Format is by upload in JPG, JPEG or PDF format only.
Prize fund €75.
Judged by Annick Bishop and Orla Madden
CATEGORY 2
12 yo – 16 yo.
Poetry competition.
Format is by upload in JPG, JPEG or PDF text format only.
Prize fund €150.
Judged by Breda Wall Ryan, Eithne Hand, and Carol Boland.
CATEGORY 3
11-18 yo.
Video. 3 mins max.
Format: Smart phone only. Submitted by providing links after uploading to Youtube/ Vimeo OR WeTransfer only.
Prize fund €200.
Judged by Andrew Lane Architect. Pat Kiernan Director Corcadorca, Dominic Moore Stage and Screen Writer/Actor.
Running from 26th March to 26th May.
Works will be exhibited in HuB13 for one night after the Covid 19 pandemic has cleared.
Themes: Your Choice. Your Art. Your World.
We are not directing a theme merely suggesting guidelines.
